How to turn phone photos into a PDF
By Sekora Studios · Updated
Photograph each page with your phone camera, then open Image to PDF in the phone browser, add the photos in reading order, and download the PDF. SafeImageTools does not stamp a watermark on the pages. This is a photo-to-PDF flow, not a live edge-detecting scanner app.
Steps
- Photograph each page in even light. Hold the phone parallel to the paper so text stays readable.
- Open Image to PDF in your mobile browser and choose the photos in page order.
- Pick A4 or Letter for document pages. Use fit if you need the whole photo, including margins.
- Create the PDF, check that pages are upright and in order, then save the download from the browser prompt.
Lighting and framing
Stand over the page, avoid mixed indoor and window light, and fill the frame. Crooked photos stay crooked in the PDF; rotate a photo first if a page is sideways.
The PDF keeps the photo as an image. There is no automatic deskew, contrast preset, or OCR.
No watermark on the download
The downloaded PDF is the pages you created. It does not add a SafeImageTools mark. Check your phone’s share sheet if another app adds its own overlay before you import the photos.
More questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. Use the camera you already have, then open the tool in a modern mobile browser.
Can I scan more than 30 pages?
One PDF accepts up to 30 images. Make a second PDF for the remaining pages, or compress photos first if memory is tight.
