How to put photos together on iPhone
By Sekora Studios · Updated
Open Combine images in Safari or Chrome, pick two photos, and download the result. For a grid, use Photo collage. For one photo per page, use Image to PDF. iPhone photos are often HEIC. If the tool does not accept the file, run it through HEIC to JPG first.
Steps
- If the photo is HEIC and the tool will not open it, convert it with HEIC to JPG.
- Open Combine images in your phone browser and choose two photos from Photos or Files.
- Pick side by side or stacked, check the preview, and download.
- For more than two photos, use Photo collage or Image to PDF the same way.
- Use the share sheet if you want the file in Photos, Mail, or Files.
Live Photos and HEIC
The tools use the still picture. Motion from a Live Photo is left out.
A single HEIC conversion is free. If you have a pile of them, batch convert uses credits for each HEIC file.
Changing the size
Combining does not change the size to a form's pixel count. If a form wants a specific width and height, resize the photo first. There is a separate guide for resizing on iPhone.
More questions
Do I need an app?
No. Safari or Chrome is enough.
Where does the file go?
iOS shows a download prompt. Save it to Files, or share it into Photos or Mail.
